Last seen by Family Members in Shreveport, Louisiana Friday July 19th, 1996 at 8pm
Eric Dale Mickelson and Kristi Gwen O'Pry drove away together in this truck and Kristi has never been seen or heard from again by family members. The people who love and miss Kristi want to know what became of Kristi after she and Eric left her sister's home that night. All Kristi had with her was her purse. The purse was black denim with light pastel stripes. Kristi was wearing blue jeans, a black, short sleeve mid-drift shirt and brown sandals. Kristi has long blond hair, light blue eyes, she's 5' 7", and weighs 115 pounds. Her ears are double pierced.
Eric told police he dropped her off at the El Chico entrance at South Park Mall on Jewella Avenue in Shreveport around 8:30 that night, but no one has been able to confirm that she was actually dropped off at South Park Mall. If she was dropped off at the South Park Mall where did she go from there, who picked her up? She had no car. Is Eric being honest? So many questions, so few answers.
Kristi was living at 10197 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport at the time of her disappearance, she'd only lived at this address for three weeks. Prior to living at the Linwood Avenue address, Kristi lived in an apartment located at 3636 1/2 Alexander in Shreveport's Highland District.
There's alot more to this mystery than we can share on this web site because of the ongoing investigation. If you would like to assist with this case in any way please contact the family via email or contact Investigator Kay Ward or Bill Duncan. Family members and Caddo Parish Investigators conducting the investigation are willing to work with writers, producers and other media personnel concerning this unsolved mystery. Information may also be passed on to any FBI Office in the country, they are participating in the investigation.
Kristi had a very close relationship with her entire family and would never abandon her baby so it's not believed she left of her own free will. We know for a fact that something took place that has prevented Kristi from contacting her family. If Kristi was a victim of crime as suspected, the O'Pry Family would like to locate her remains for the proper Christian Burial Kristi deserves. They just want a place to bring flowers to.
