Fits most fractional horse-power engines. Notched end compresses valve spring. Hook end aligns valve spring retainer. Remove and install valve springs on all engines using self-locking valve spring retainers.

The ideal tool for removing and replacing valve springs of B & S Engines. Long and slender, it is adapted to reach into small recesses in which valve springs and retaining washers are located. The arms are hinged so they're practically parallel at the jaws. The jaws are adjustable in width to fit the valve springs and have edges so thin that they can be easily forced under and over the ends of the valve spring to compress it.
